Manager, Finance Corporate Planning (OPEX)
San Mateo, CA (preferred) or PST time zone
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Finance Corporate Planning (OPEX) to support our corporate functions, including Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and Finance. The ideal candidate will lead a team of remote and hybrid analysts, prepare financial materials, manage assumptions related to salary and fringe benefits, analyze headcount, and oversee our equity program expenditures. Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of remote and hybrid analysts, providing guidance and oversight to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and yearly actuals, forecasts, and budget materials for corporate functions.
• Provide variance explanations on monthly actuals, identifying key drivers and trends to inform decision-making.
• Handle and update assumptions loaded into the financial system, particularly those related to salary and fringe benefits.
• Analyze headcount data and prepare reconciliations explanations.
• Manage equity program expenditures, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Stock Options (SOs).
• Develop ROI strategies and leading practices.
• Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Hire, coach, and mentor staff to achieve success, fostering a collaborative and inclusive high-performance culture.
• Adhoc requests as needed by the business.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in corporate planning, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• 2-3 years of management experience preferred, including managing global and remote teams
• Flexible and can pivot as business needs change.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing remote/hybrid teams and fostering a positive work culture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Adaptive, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Interest or background in the gaming industry is a plus.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$147,900
- $221,900 USD
