Research Scientist-Neural Rendering (Gaussian Splatting)

About the Role

Pixomondo is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to lead innovative projects in neural rendering - Gaussian Splatting. This role focuses on groundbreaking theoretical research and experimentation in this field, aiming to advance Pixomondo's capabilities in visual effects and virtual production.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct cutting-edge research in neural rendering - Gaussian Splatting and publish findings.
• Translate theoretical research into practical algorithms in collaboration with development teams.
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities in neural rendering for VFX/VP innovation.
• Collaborate with Computer Vision Engineers to ensure practical applicability of research outcomes in production.

Qualifications
• Significant research experience in NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, or related fields.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Machine Learning and 3D graphics.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch. CUDA expertise is a plus.
Experience in traditional 3D reconstruction methods is beneficial.
• Solid background in 3D graphics preferred.
• Computer Vision Engineer - Structure from Motion & 3D Reconstruction
