We're looking for a skilled Lead VFX Animator to join our team in Germany, offering a permanent hybrid role based in either our Stuttgart or Frankfurt studio. This presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for you to contribute to cutting-edge projects and take the lead in guiding a team of talented professionals in the exciting field of visual effects animation. As a Lead VFX Animator, you will:
• Lead a team of VFX animators, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless integration of visual effects into the overall project.
• Responsible for setting and upholding a high quality standard for VFX animations on a range of projects, consistent from concept to completion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Utilize industry-standard software, including but not limited to:
• Autodesk Maya
• Ragdoll Dynamics
• Anim Bot
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows for efficiency.
• Manage timelines and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality visual effects.
• Collaborate with the production team to set and meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a VFX Animator on large photorealistic projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, dynamics, and cinematography.
• Proficiency in Shotgrid visual effects software.
• Scripting skills in Python and or Mel would be beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid competence in written and spoken English.
