Job Description
This role oversees the safe operations of the integrated motion systems on a virtual production stage. We are looking for a skilled Integrated Motion Systems Technician who will leverage cutting-edge technology, including our proprietary digital twin application, camera crane and proprietary vehicle motion platform. The ecosystem will be integrated and operated through Unreal Engine application, setting new standards for safety, efficiency and optimized performance and productivity.

Pixomondo will provide training on integrated motion systems to fill knowledge gaps where required.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
• Operation the integrated motion control system including Unreal Engine software with camera crane and vehicle motion platform.
• Using our custom digital twin system powered by Unreal Engine (UE).
• Utilize digital twin models to simulate and plan crane and vehicle platform movements.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to refine and optimize the digital twin interface for crane and vehicle platform operations.
• Monitor real-time data and feedback from the digital twin to adjust crane and vehicle platform movements and operations as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards while operating the crane and vehicle platform.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on crane and vehicle platform equipment and ensure software updates are implemented.
• Document and report operational data and performance metrics derived from the crane and vehicle platform.

Experience needed:
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols in hydraulic and electric computer-controlled motion systems.
• Experience performing maintenance checks and/or maintaining for hydraulic and/or electric equipment.
• Experience as a remote camera crane operator, for example, a Technodolly
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and provide feedback on system performance.
• On-set experience with film productions

Nice to have:
• Familiarity and experience using Unreal Engine.
• Understanding of pre-visualization and shot design and ability to translate that experience into Unreal environment.
• Experience with operations of a vehicle motion platforms
