Motion Graphics Designer

Job Description

Position Overview:

The Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating high quality motion graphics for all events at Citizens Bank Park. The Motion Graphics Designer is expected to produce 3D and 2D motion and still graphics for Video Services. This position will work with the Manager of Electronic Displays Systems and will be responsible for the creation and execution of motion graphics that elevate our team's brand through game-day presentation, special events and more.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and build high-end 2D/3D motion graphics and stills for use on Video Boards, LEDs and social media including crowd prompts, situational animations, player stingers and screen savers
• Translate applicable print marketing, advertising, and branding designs to still and motion graphics
• Brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative ideas for long-form, short-form, and one-off visual initiatives
• Create Animation templates and internal style guides for easy use by other team members
• Work closely with video editors and provide graphic support on multiple projects (lower thirds, logo intros, special fx, etc.)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in video production, visual effects, graphic design, or related field
• A minimum of three (3) years working professionally in motion graphics within an advertising/marketing, branding, or sports environment
• Proficient in Cinema 4D
• Proficient in The Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within strict deadlines while being an efficient communicator
• Understands the creative and production process in the sports world setting
• Strong sense of typography, design skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours; including: evenings, weekends, and holidays
• General Baseball Knowledge is preferred
