This is a high-profile role within the International Streaming FP&A team, supporting Paramount+, the company's flagship SVOD service. Primary area of focus will be on the financial management of P+ services working in a small but high-performance finance FP&A team spanning multiple regions and reporting to the FP&A Sr. Director of Finance for Paramount+
What will you be doing
• Support Finance Sr. Director in maintaining oversight of the consolidated regional DTC P&L and Metrics
• Tasked with comprehensive consolidation of important performance indicators, marketing efforts, new subscriber acquisition, conversion rates, customer attrition, and revenue for the P+ business in these regions across all forecasts, projections, annual and long-term plans
• Ability to support Regional Subscriber DTC Markets at an adhoc/support basis
• Plan and support centrally P+ International shared expenses
• Accurate reporting of P&L and subscribers against forecast including narrative on business performance and variances
• Co-ordinate on the month end close process with cross functional finance teams, e.g. P2P, RtR, Controllership
• Emphasize measuring, reporting, and driving core key performance indicators and business activity
• Support the long-range planning (LRP) process and quarterly reviews, Budget and monthly forecast process
• Collaborate with the wider P+ International Finance team to drive process improvements through automation of reporting packages and dashboards to support all regions
• Ad hoc reporting, modelling, and analyses, and supporting global/local commercial teams with business case development
• Work with Controllers, Tax, Legal teams to determine requirements applicable to P+ in each region
• Ownership of PO tracking and reporting, provide partners with transparency of spend and ensuring POs raised in a timely manner
• Ensure that the appropriate financial procedures and controls are maintained, including continuous review and improvement of working practices
What are we looking for?
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree educated to at least 2:1, or equivalent vocational qualifications
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CA/CFA or International equivalent)
Essential Skills and Experience
• Proven Post Qualified Experience (PQE) - minimum 5 years with 7-10 years overall finance experience
• Demonstrate experience working in a similar role
• Ideally, a Technology, Digital Media, Telco (TMT) background, Streaming experience a bonus
• Understanding of Direct to Consumer (D2C) metrics (D2C experience highly advantageous)
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand and articulate financial data
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrable experience of interacting with partner groups across multiple finance functions and regions
• Experience of working in a fast-paced high pressure environment
