The Streaming Distribution Team is responsible for the partnership-driven growth of the Paramount streaming portfolio, which includes both Paramount+ and Pluto TV! They are currently looking for a Director, Emerging Business Development - Streaming Distribution! Paramount streaming properties enjoy nearly ubiquitous distribution across a variety of key platforms, including connected TV OEMs, MVPDs, consoles, and SMP operators, such as Vizio, Samsung, Amazon, Roku, and Google. This role will focus on seeking out opportunities to build and grow new partnerships in emerging market segments. The Director, will directly contribute to our growth by identifying, evaluating, and implementing new distribution partnerships and growing our presence with existing partners (e.g., automobiles, hotels, airlines, mobile / tablets, PCs, etc).
Overview and Responsibilities
• Lead business development efforts to build high impact relationships and facilitate the distribution of Streaming services through new and existing hardware and software integrations
• Identify high impact partnership opportunities by applying data points to make informed decisions
• Work with internal teams from initial negotiations through execution to ensure successful long-term partnerships
• Develop deep product and business expertise with an ability to collect and synthesize feedback to drive our product roadmap
• Contribute and evolve the distribution roadmap in conjunction with applicable cross-functional teams
• Adapt quickly to changes and limitations, and communicate related concepts effectively to stakeholders
• Proactively advocate for partners and push issues toward resolution to ensure the best possible partnership experience
• Advocate for partner needs and consult with cross-functional stakeholders within Product-Engineering, Distribution Partnerships & Business Development, Marketing, and Monetization among other functional areas on account deep-dives to share insights that quantify opportunities for partner growth.

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree or higher (MBA Preferred)
• 5+ years in Business Development, consulting, or partnerships, preferably in the digital media / streaming industry
• Communication and presentation experience
• Knowledge of media technology ecosystem

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience working cross-functionally
• Experience solving problems in a collaborative environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $150,000.00 - 175,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
