Communications Manager, Streaming

Job Description

Paramount+ is currently seeking a Communications Manager to join the Corporate Communications team to help communicate strong and compelling brand stories with consumer and trade media! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of data-driven communications campaigns, press materials, and story angles. This role will work cross-functionally with marketing, research, product, and programming to generate exciting publicity opportunities for Paramount+ at both the business and consumer levels! Overview & Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with teams such as marketing, research, social, studio, and programming to identify and build publicity opportunities for Paramount+ at both the business and consumer levels
• Write press materials including releases, key messages, interview briefing documents, and other collateral in support of brand and consumer campaigns
• Support the department Vice President and wider team in handling the execution of product launches, seasonal initiatives, and multicultural campaigns
• Proactively identify and leverage insights to develop and secure stories aligned with company priorities
• Coordinate with external partners on the launch of new consumer experiences, including collaborating on joint press materials and communications plans, as well as securing media coverage that is mutually beneficial
• Cultivate relationships with key press outlets, running inbound inquiries and developing creative, proactive pitches based on industry trends and cultural moments
• Build and supply content to the monthly media newsletter, partnering with your immediate team to identify priority content, draft copy, collect approved assets, and lead all aspects of distribution

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in communications, preferably within the entertainment or streaming industries
• Expertise in building and executing high-profile communication campaigns that align with business objectives
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required

• Strong willingness to be collaborative, flexible, and capable of working across various business groups across the division
• Ambitious self-starter who is able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 107,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
