Job Description
Are you a successful relationship-builder with professional sports sales experience? We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team of sales pros. As an account executive you will be responsible for driving ticket sales and revenue for the Oklahoma City Thunder and OKC Blue. You will sell tickets across all menus including groups, full and partial season packages and premium seats. You and your coworkers will act as passionate ambassadors of the Thunder brand and champions of the sport of basketball, connecting with fans and filling the seats to build an exciting atmosphere at Thunder and Blue home games. If you have strengths in communication and the ability to make meaningful connections with clients, potential clients and co-workers, we would love to have you join us.

In this role you will:
• Work all Thunder home games where you will network for new sales opportunities, fulfill group obligations, answer questions at the Thunder sales booth and provide your current clients with excellent guest service
• Prospect, promote, and sell ticket packages and boost attendance at home games
• Seek out connections in the community to build business opportunities and attend team events to broaden connections with current and potential clients
• Generate new business through cold calling, off-site appointments, networking opportunities and community events and scheduled team events
• Sell inventory to concerts and events upon request
• Form relationships to provide repeat business and excellent service
• Meet pre-determined sales and activity goals and document sales calls, appointments and sales transactions using CRM software
• Attend daily morning sales meeting to collaborate and share ideas
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the role:
• Previous sports/entertainment sales experience required
• Four-year college degree or equivalent work or military experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and listening skills and confidence with presentations to groups in any demographic
• A standout colleague who is ambitious and assertive, but able to function well in a collaborative environment, meeting both personal and team goals
• Bi-lingual communication skills are a real plus especially in Spanish/English
• Exceptional work ethic and strong desire to succeed while maintaining the utmost integrity
• Creative approach; able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities

Additional Details:

Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will include office hours as well as events and home games on evenings, weekends and holidays. Primary work location will be Paycom Center located in downtown Oklahoma City. Physical requirements of the job may include lifting approximately 30 pounds. Game night atmosphere will include loud music, crowd noise and flashing or strobe lighting and physical requirements of the job include traversing stairs.

This is full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Group and Season Ticket Sales.
