Overview /Objective:
The Vice President, Tax will be a key leader within the NFL's Finance organization. This position is responsible for the Company's US and International tax, managing risk, value add, accounting and compliance. The position will be reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and lead execution of tax planning strategies to manage tax risks and effectiveness with respect to US/international operations and structure in line with best practice
• Oversee all tax returns, including Federal, State, Sales & Use and US international filing forms
• Oversee all tax accounting, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring appropriate provisioning, KPI and Policy to satisfy tax requirements, footnote, and deferred tax computations
• Provide strategic direction, technical guidance and leadership of the tax team
• Partner and manage the relationship with external tax advisors, aligning internal and external resources
• Oversee audits and inquiries for direct and indirect tax
• Advise senior leadership of the impact of new tax laws and proposed legislation, ensuring compliance for future requirements
• Provide commercial appropriate business solutions with cross functional projects, outside service providers on technical matters, and other tax professionals in carrying out responsibilities
• Ad Hoc projects as necessary
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Accounting, or Finance
• CPA required
• 15 years minimum industry experience
• Extensive experience and mastery knowledge of progressive corporate tax experience, preferably in the sports or Media industries
• Proven leader in achieving objectives and setting direction for a team
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex tax matters to non-tax business leaders
• Strong knowledge of US Federal Taxation
Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
Salary / Pay Range

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

$215,000
- $275,000 USD
