As weekend news anchor, you will anchor all newscasts that air on Saturday and Sunday, as well as become the primary fill-in anchor during the week.

Job Description:
• Multi-level content anchor/reporter, with platforms that include TV, internet and mobile
• Enterprise and develop stories for air and digital
• Demonstrate compelling storytelling with active live shots, stand-ups, and creative graphics
• Understand how to gather, write, and present complex information into understandable stories
• Build a rolodex of sources to stay ahead of competitors
• Take part in special reports, election coverage and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of may substitute for education)
• 1 year television experience required
• Solid newsroom citizen, strong everyday good attitude, promoter of teamwork
• Solid vocal delivery and clear enunciation a must
• Strong reporting skills
• Understand importance of social media
• Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills
• Proficient in ENPS, Adobe Premier and Teams

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

Must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 24 pounds, and can handle control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
