Streaming / Weekend Executive Producer

KRON4, the Bay Area's local news station, is looking for a Streaming and Weekend Executive Producer. This position oversees KRON4's weekend evening newscasts and will play a key role in overseeing KRON4's digital streaming newscasts and programming. We're looking for a hands-on, creative EP, who can not only lead but produce and edit as well. The Executive Producer will work out of our San Francisco studio on the Embarcadero.

This will be a regular, full-time management, non-union, exempt position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee KRON4 Weekend Evening News
• Create and produce programming for KRON4's digital streaming channel
• Make coverage decisions on breaking news and reporter assignments
• Plan weekend coverage and streaming coverage
• Approve scripts, video and graphics
• Line produce as needed
• Edit video for stories and teases using desktop editing system
• Communicate with other producers, assignment editors, directors
• Communicate clearly with control room staff and anchors
• Work with other EP's to identify and execute broadcast/streaming cross promotion opportunities
• Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 – 5 years of experience producing compelling newscasts in a medium to major market
• College degree or equivalent in journalism/communications or broadcasting preferred
• Must be a self-starter, hard worker, have a great attitude, and be versatile and efficient

Compensation: $90,000+ to commensurate with experience
