Job Description
The Associate Producer / Contributing Host is responsible booking guests; contributing story ideas; writing stories; shoot and host field segments lifestyle show or digital content for the web.
Additional
• Assists in writing and production of broadcast or on-line publication
• Contributes to the content process and make solid decisions with content to build lifestyle show
• Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all digital devices
• Writes, produces and edits material that appeals to target audiences
• Research content topics using the internet, video archives, and other information sources
• Hosting 6-8 completed packages per week (4-5 minutes maximum shot and edited) of content in alignment with Lifestyle show definition. Goal of minimum two packages per day which include studio record and field.
• Filling in for studio show pre-taping when host is on vacation or assignment.
• Assisting lifestyle producer with the online and social media for the show and clipping paid client segments for digital posting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/film or equivalent experience may substitute
• Understand brand building directives
• Interact well with show host, clients and guests, production, digital and engineering staff
• Detail oriented
• Excellent verbal, written, grammar and analytical skills
• Ability to develop strong on camera communication skills and entertaining presentations
• Possess integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations
• Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
• Ability to meet quality standards for service & evaluate customer satisfaction
The pay range for this position is: $17,000- $21,000.00
