NewsNation Field Technical Manager, Part-Time

NewsNation is currently seeking a driven, experienced and pro-active part-time Field Technical Manager to join the team in our Connecticut studio. As a Field Technical Manager, you will operate, maintain equipment and be the main point of contact for the crew in our NY facilities.

Responsibilities:

The Field Technical Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Schedule crew for the Connecticut studio
• Operate and maintain camera, microphone, IFB, and all other equipment
• Work with teams in NY Bureau daily to check all equipment is properly functioning and be able to troubleshoot when there are issues
• Interface directly with talent and provide technical support when needed

Salary Range: $60.00 - $92.00 Hourly

Qualifications:
Prior control room, studio or field experience at broadcast networks.
Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment are a must.
Evenings and holidays may be a part of the schedule with overtime as situations demand.
This is an IBEW position and membership is required.
