The Team and Role:
The Netflix Finance Engineering Team manages and delivers solutions for the constantly evolving needs of our International Finance/Controllership and Global Tax teams. Our team is seeking an excellent Functional Lead to help us solutionize and work in a rapid development environment with multiple internal business stakeholders and to meet external regulatory requirements. This position will be based in Sao Paulo, supporting the full LATAM region and also supporting projects globally, and will report to the Manager of Finance and Tax Technology.

The Opportunity:
As a Senior Solutions architect, you will be:
Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering (including post-launch support) scalable solutions to support our Controllership and Tax teams regionally and globally.
Planning, prioritizing, and managing projects/enhancements on the roadmap ensuring successful end-user experience
Working closely with internal business stakeholders from Finance and Tax teams (globally and in LATAM) to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions.
Leveraging business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements
Forging strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various finance and engineering teams to successfully engage, understand, and translate business needs into system requirements.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English are required. Spanish is a plus.
Extensive working experience in enterprise software/ERP/accounting systems like Oracle/SAP/NetSuite/Workday.
Experience in working with engineers, product managers and product owners located globally, leveraging your communication skills.
Solid understanding of financial/statutory reporting and working knowledge of tax requirements
Experience in building and supporting custom solutions.
Experience in understanding integrations with various finance systems.
Strong project management skills to take ownership of projects and drive them from inception to completion
Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage time effectively in order to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while being detail-oriented and decisive.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, technical solution architects, engineers, and stakeholders on projects.
Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verbally.
Demonstrable commitment and achievement skills to exceed expectations and serve multiple partners while delivering an outstanding experience.
Experience in building reports using Tableau dashboards will be an added advantage.
Experience in building reports for management using Workiva will be considered as an advantage.
