Senior UI Engineer - Studio UI Marketing Tech

Job Description

The Studio UI Marketing Technology team is a part of our larger User Interface team focused on studio applications. Our engineering team builds media planning and distribution technology that drives interest and excitement about our growing slate of Original Movies and TV Shows. Our goal is to build scalable systems that enable our partners at Netflix to efficiently manage, measure, experiment, and learn about tactics that help unlock the effectiveness of our paid, owned, and earned media efforts.

People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for our business and for technology innovation. We look for individuals with deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML who are comfortable writing custom JavaScript but also know when to apply off-the-shelf solutions for the problem. We also value people who are passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving the UI. We currently work with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js, but the ability to adapt to changing technology is an important strength.

Meet the Team
• Anna Borja: Anna is a UI engineer building an app that facilitates global marketing planning. She's a self-taught engineer, and her hobbies include martial arts like Muay Thai and Eskrima and playing and writing music. She has two dogs: a Lab and a pit bull.
• Artem Shtatnov: Artem is a software engineer on the Marketing Tech team. He is a former lawyer who found building applications much more exciting. He enjoys photography, traveling, and teaching his home to be self aware.
• Dinesh Dhamija: Dinesh is a Husband and father of 3 kids, he enjoy hiking, running, family travels, tennis and working on User Interfaces. Dinesh moved to the Bay Area in 2013 and have been working at Netflix on various UI and backend projects. Before that, Dinesh lived for a decade in the Seattle area working with various Tech companies. Originally, he was born in India (Haryana, 80 miles north of New Delhi). Interesting bit, he got my first pet only after having his own kids and now love dogs.
• Erick Purino: Erick is a UI Engineer that loves the intersection of visual display and technology. He enjoys building applications to bring joy to our users. His hobbies are travelling and trying to amass as many 1CC(1 credit clear).
• John Ovalle: John is a UI Engineer on the Studio UI team. He is a self-taught engineer and enjoys studying foreign languages, exercising, and playing board games in his spare time.
• Valliammai Vairavan: Valli is a Frontend Engineer on the Studio UI team who loves learning and trying out new things. Currently, Her free time is being spent in learning to play piano and binge-watching princess shows with her two princesses.
• Howard Sueing: Howard is the Engineering Manager of the Studio UI - Marketing Tech team. His superpower is reconciliation through empathy to bring different kinds of people together. He enjoys CrossFit, The Office references, drinking OatMilk cappuccinos, watching Horror movies and supporting the people in his life.
