We create systems and services that enable teams worldwide to plan, produce, distribute, and promote our titles. This role sits within the Content Foundations team, which creates both end-user applications and developer platforms that ensure reliable data and efficient workflows across our content lifecycle.

As Netflix expands into new entertainment areas, maintaining reliable connections between our content data is crucial to our content operations. In this role, you will create the applications and platforms that enable teams to navigate and maintain these complex relationships at scale. You'll develop solutions for taxonomy governance, ontology management, and knowledge graph visualization-helping teams understand connections from talent and productions to scripts, media assets, deals, and beyond. Working closely with data management professionals and product teams, you'll build intuitive tools and extensible integration patterns that ensure data quality across our distributed content systems.

This role can be based in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos offices. There is also the option to be based remotely from the West Coast/PST working hours. Some travel will be required if remote-based.

As a Product Manager at Netflix, you will:
• Build strategic roadmaps and take product concepts from idea through validation, delivery, measurement, and iteration
• Author strategy memos and presentations, representing your team's work across the organization and to senior leadership
• Lead a team of stunning colleagues across design, engineering, data management, and data science to deliver outstanding products to our customers
• Build business cases and measure the impact of your product innovation
• Deeply understand and socialize the evolving needs of our customers

As the Product Manager, Connected Data, you will:
• Drive the product vision and strategy for how teams discover, understand, and manage connected data to power critical workflows that enable content operations
• Design extensible frameworks and technical interfaces that enable teams to integrate with our unified data architecture, ensuring reliable data propagation across our systems
• Build applications for visualizing and managing complex data relationships, including solutions for taxonomy and ontology management, controlled vocabularies, and data quality workflows
• Lead organizational alignment efforts to drive adoption of connected data practices, partnering with teams to establish migration paths from point solutions to unified tools
• Guide diverse stakeholders through technical initiatives, balancing the needs of data professionals with product engineering teams.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of Product Management experience with proven success building and scaling technical products
• Experience with knowledge graphs, taxonomy management, or connected data systems
• Track record of building technology solutions for technical practitioners and data professionals
• Strong understanding of data modeling and governance in distributed data environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment - your relationship-building skills are critical to success
• Excellent communication skills - you'll need to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives
• Comfortable managing a portfolio of bigger and smaller bets while balancing short-term goals and long-term vision
• Experience with entertainment data is a plus
