The Role

The Marketing & Communications (MarComms) Financial Planning & Analysis (MFP&A) team supporting APAC is looking for a Manager to join the team in Singapore. This position will be an integrated business partner responsible for financial planning and strategic decision-making for Netflix's APAC MarComms team. MarComms leadership relies on the MFP&A team to accurately forecast expenses and inform important strategic business decisions with actionable insights.

This role will report to the head of APAC Marketing FP&A. In this role, you will need to be a self-starter with tremendous skill in working and communicating with cross-functional partners. A successful candidate will be able to manage complex work streams that involve multiple stakeholders, and build strong relationships across teams. Responsibilities
• Work closely with senior Marketing & PR executives to translate strategic initiatives into a multi-year operating financial roadmap
• Be a strategic and financial thought partner to Marketing and PR executives across multiple APAC countries
• Develop near and long-term Marketing & PR expense and headcount forecasts for various countries across APAC
• Create insightful presentations to summarize analyses and facilitate decision-making for leadership
• Become proficient in our reporting tools and planning system (Anaplan); drive automation efforts and system enhancements
• Forecast overhead costs, including developing activity-based workforce models and working with HR and Talent to forecast organizational needs
• Periodic travel to other Netflix offices worldwide

Requirements
• 8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A. Prior media/entertainment is preferred but not required and marketing/PR is required
• Verbal and written proficiency in English required (Korean or Japanese is a plus); clear and concise communication abilities required
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and delivering actionable recommendations based on the analysis
• Superior proficiency in Excel & complex financial modeling
• Prior experience working with or reporting analysis to high-level stakeholders
• Sound working knowledge of related accounting policies preferred
• Motivated and disciplined to work effectively and autonomously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and tolerate ambiguity and shifting requirements
• Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• 4-year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance (Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics). MBA a plus
