Job Description
The RoleAs Netflix continues to grow globally, we are looking for the best and brightest to drive analytics that underpins our entertainment strategy and key business decisions. The Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team is looking for a Manager who will focus on the Italian market. The role will be based out of our Rome office.
The CPS&O team develops strategic insights to further the company's global content efforts and is primarily responsible for deal valuation, programming strategy and analytics, scheduling, competitive analysis, and user behavioral analysis. We partner closely with Netflix's senior leadership, who depend heavily on our strategic insights to inform critical business decisions across the company.
Responsibilities:
A sample of work could include:
• Advising content stakeholders on content programming strategy and individual project decisions
• Preparing deal and valuation analyses (model building & scenario testing)
• Conducting market research, tracking and compiling industry trends
• Supporting scheduling decisions for the Italian slate
• Regularly presenting analyses and reports in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders
• Working cross-functionally with other teams, including Finance, Product, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Data Science and Engineering teams
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role. We are looking for candidates who have worked in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment in which complex modeling and analysis are performed
• Passion for entertainment and avid watcher of content
• Strong communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently and proactively anticipate the business demands of managers/stakeholders
• Intellectual curiosity, with the courage to challenge the status quo
• Ability to quickly and successfully embrace change
• Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets / Slides
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation.
• Fluency in Italian and English required
