The Role
We continue to grow the UK Netflix advertising business with exciting ambitions for 2025. As a result we are now seeking an 'Agency Sales Manager' in the UK to both help evolve the UK business and shape the sales strategy for Netflix Ads.
As Agency Sales Manager you will be responsible for helping lead the development and execution of Agency Sales strategy for the UK. You will be managing a group of dedicated Sales Partners with a focus around a specific Agency Holding Group. In this role you will work closely with C Suite Executives; senior level Investment stakeholders and Account Planning leaders at the Agency operating companies within an Agency Holding group.
Responsibilities:
• Build and execute a strategic vision for short, medium, and long term growth, identifying areas of opportunity across the managed Agency Group portfolio
• Manage a dedicated team of Sales Partners focused around the specific Agency Group portfolio (e.g. Omnicom UK, Group M UK)
• The role will carry its own book of business whilst leading the specific Agency Group team
• Provide critical marketplace and competitive feedback to inform the sales team and internal operations
• Drive operational rigour for the Agency Group sales team as it pertains to revenue/pipeline management and reporting
• Synthesise and communicate critical feedback to internal partners to influence prioritisation for business needs
• Represent the range of work and outputs from their broader team
• Has strong existing relationships across the book of business while demonstrating the ability to add value by unlocking access to additional internal and external stakeholders
• Empower senior sellers to continue driving business outcomes while coaching and onboarding new sellers that are joining the team
• Partner with cross-functional teams on multi-touch sales efforts to provide smoothest go-to-market approach for sellers
• Forecast business trajectory through top down and bottom up models to identify areas of opportunity across managed portfolio
Qualifications:
• Demonstrable experience within advertising sales - a proven track record of managing and leading high performing sales teams is required.
• Comprehensive network of contacts across UK Agencies & Clients
• Solid understanding
of the programmatic ecosystem with experience selling in relevant programmatic products and opportunities
• Business and marketplace expertise on the clients/agencies under the domain of the team
• Highly skilled at cross-functional partnership, organisational rigour, and strategy building to deliver healthy business metrics and growth
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on synthesising feedback, farming for dissent, and gaining alignment from internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and influence relevant stakeholders across functions
• Solid understanding
of Netflix product suite and ability to sell our value proposition at the highest levels of client and agency organisations
• Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers
• Accurately assesses strength/development areas for IC team members and is able to coach towards successful outcomes
• Able to represent Netflix in Advertising Industry and B2B settings with credibility
