Job Description
The Legal Team is seeking a talented, passionate and experienced lawyer to support our growing ads business and the wider marketing and communications functions in APAC.
In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ad Sales, Ad Tech, Product, Business & Legal Affairs, Marketing, and Communications, as well as cross-regionally with legal team colleagues. Responsibilities include: review and negotiate advertising related agreements, such as ad measurement and agency agreements; legal advice on ads policies; negotiation of commercial agreements for the marketing and comms teams, including agency, talent, and partnership agreements; creative campaign review and rights and risk assessment; strategize solutions for sticky legal challenges; prepare and conduct training to help increase legal acumen across our advertising, marketing, communications and publicity teams as needed; and serve as connective tissue with other regions in this function.

Requirements
• The successful candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience as a lawyer working in advertising (including ad sales) within APAC. Entertainment and marketing experience is a plus.
• Experience negotiating ad sales agreements is required
• Ability to work autonomously and reliably within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment as part of a geographically wide-spread team
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to exercise sound judgment in the absence of perfect information with a strong commercial lens
• Proactively identify issues and problem-solve in a business-friendly and solutions-oriented manner
• Ability to think strategically, commercially, and practically
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to synthesize information and align efforts across different geographies and departments to achieve common goals
• Adaptable work and communication style across cultures, able to bridge cultural differences
• Fluency in English is required, proficiency in additional languages is a plus
