In this exciting new role, you will report to the Director of Finance Program Management and be a part of building the recently established Program Management Office (PMO). In addition to leading complex initiatives in support of the Finance transformation journey, you will help establish project management guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business. You will handle the business side of multiple projects and will interact with multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams at all seniority levels, including leadership. A successful candidate should be able to quickly understand the business and must have excellent communication skills, with strong experience in leading complex projects in a global environment.
This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part-time. Occasional travel to other office locations, including internationally, may be required.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
• Lead programs and projects from ideation through implementation. Develop project charters and plans, balance resources, and track timelines & milestones to ensure alignment across project teams on objectives and deliverables.
• Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose and implement issue or risk-mitigating strategies.
• Partner with the Finance Product and Technology teams to determine the strategy and execution of the implementation of new systems and integrations for reporting initiatives
• Drive the strategy on implementing reporting, process, or system improvements across finance working with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the company
Stakeholder Management and Business Engagement
• Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Provide stakeholders with project decisions and milestone tracking. Ensure executive sponsors are informed via status updates and appropriate escalations.
• Collaborate with Finance business leads, product, engineering and technical program managers to deliver solutions that meet or exceed business stakeholders' needs.
• Manage through others; successfully influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals.
• Establish and foster healthy, collaborative working partnerships.
Change Management
• Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities
• Develop and ensure execution of change management deliverables (stakeholder analysis, business impact assessment, change adoption strategy, training plans, etc.)
Domain Knowledge
• Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Forecast to Delivery business processes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required (business or finance preferred)
• 7+ years in finance or finance systems; with 5+ years finance project or program management
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles preferred
• CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
• Experience building and scaling reporting, workflows, or processes for a global team
• Great communicator who can build strong working relationships with cross-functional and finance teams
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000 - $500,000.
