Associate, FP&A, LATAM Corporate
The Role
The LATAM Corporate FP&A team at Netflix is responsible for regional reporting for the LATAM region including rCFO and functional leads. In addition, this team is focused on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis for Finance, Legal and Talent functions. Our team interacts with many parts of the company and helps connect the dots between the business.
This associate's main focus will be helping scale financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities. Successful candidates are committed to action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. The position reports to the LATAM Corporate Manager and is based in the Mexico City office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Systems & Standardization
• Demonstrate exceptional technical skills in data tooling and data gathering.
• Take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing financial models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions related to LATAM.
• Accountable for headcount planning and expense forecasting.
• Identify and implement initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
Financial Analysis
• Perform financial scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare data analysis and develop insightful dashboards & presentations that summarize the data
Reporting
Collaborate with the Regional FP&A Manager to coordinate and deliver against a regional/functional planning calendar, including the contribution of local forecast insights, to coincide with the Corporate planning calendar.
• Support on rCFO quarterly reporting, reconciliation, and review of (FvF), (FvA), (YoY) to improve forecast accuracy, and enhance the visibility of the financials at the regional level.
• Provide high-quality quarterly financial reviews for F&S, Enterprise Operations, Legal, and Talent leads. Including (FvF), (FvA), (YoY) narrative and identification of risks and opportunities and other material movements in their budget in order to help the business make more informed decisions.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, preferably in a competitive financial/operational rotational program, with extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Must be a self-starter, disciplined to work effectively autonomously, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying key questions, defining, performing, and coordinating analyses, and communicating findings clearly and concisely.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
• Superior proficiency with MS Excel is expected; working knowledge of analysis packages is a plus. Knowledge of Tableau, Anaplan, and TM1 is also a plus.
• Previous experience working with financial and/or headcount-related data is a plus.
