Job Description
The Role

The Legal Finance & Strategy team works closely with the Business Affairs and Labor teams to support key strategic initiatives and negotiations, by providing in-depth analyses coupled with internal and external insights. The work of the team includes supporting term deal negotiations, guilds' agreements renegotiations (e.g. US' SAG-AFTRA and IATSE, UK's Equity), and analyzing talent remuneration. While the main partners of the team are the Legal, Business Affairs, and Labor leads, the Legal Finance & Strategy team is working closely with many other teams at Netflix (e.g., Finance, Production Finance, Content Strategy) due to the high impact of these initiatives on the business. The Associate will be an integral part of the team, working primarily with Senior Manager, Legal Finance & Strategy, on US projects, with visibility and opportunities to work with the rest of the team on ex-US projects.

This role resides in Netflix's Hollywood offices, with the expectation to be in-office 3x a week.

Responsibilities:
• Developing strategic frameworks to guide decision-making on key Legal and Labor initiatives,
• Partnering closely with key stakeholders across the company to align on strategic and operational initiatives,
• Conducting ad hoc analysis to support deal negotiations,
• Creating insightful presentations to summarize the analytical work that supports the decisions of the Business Affairs and Labor leadership,
• Develop a deep understanding of Netflix and the broader market trends to feed internal discussion.

Qualifications:
• 4-year degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of experience at an investment bank, management consulting firm, private equity, hedge fund, and/or internal strategy. Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is preferred (but not required).
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem-solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel skills. Familiarity with statistical concepts and analysis.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
• Intellectually curious, motivated, and disciplined. Can effectively work autonomously.
• Adept at writing, facilitating, and presenting analyses.
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional parters.
