Analytics Engineer (L5) - Live Quality of Experience

What you'll do
• You'll own quality of experience metrics, insights, tools, and recommendations.
• As an analytics engineer, you'll work independently and across the data stack, including logging, data modeling, metrics development, visualization, and insights.
• You'll develop deep expertise in how client and server infrastructure work in partnership with Netflix engineering teams.
• You'll help us understand the Netflix member perspective on their experiences.
• You'll work with a world class team of data engineers, analytics engineers, and data scientists.

You have
• Passion for solving real-world problems through analytics, tooling, and visualization, and an eye for independently identifying new, impactful analytic opportunities
• Expertise in SQL, programming (e.g. Python), ETL, and data warehousing concepts at scale
• Strong, effective partnerships with technical teams
• Systems thinking and good judgment in making tradeoffs (e.g. when to be scrappy v. rigorous)?
• Comfort with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $720,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
