We are looking for a VP to lead our UX Research and Insights function across Peacock and the Fandango suite of brands.
We are developing the way insights operate in the product worlds at both Peacock and Fandango, inviting the voice of the consumer to the table as decisions are made, and paths are carved out. We aim to guide each step of the product roadmap, moving design and engineering efforts forward in an iterative way as well as delivering foundational understanding of consumers relevant to our spaces today.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of translating research into design and product decisions, bringing actionable insights into the right rooms, having influence and impact with stakeholders and that underpins the strategy and product roadmaps of our diverse products. This role also requires expertise in building and managing teams with researchers at different levels of experience. Candidates must be able to articulate the vision of the team to cross-functional partners and be a strong advocate for the role of research in product development.
Responsibilities:
Goals:
• Understand the business and the goals of the product teams across the different brands.
• Help to shape and guide goals with insights, as the understanding and the work evolves.
Partnerships:
• Collaborate closely with leaders in other functions (Product Management, Engineering, and DS).
• Set the vision for how UX Research can be a trusted and strategic partner for business critical, product, and design decisions.
• Be a part of developing and delivering the team's purpose, contribution, and fit within the business.
Team:
• Grow and lead a team of UX Researchers, guiding and influencing high-quality and actionable insights.
• Guide and identify opportunities for your teams to do their best work
Elevate the work:
• Help teach the team and stakeholders how to shift the way they work – from reactive to strategic.
• Find efficiencies in the approach to work and ensure that the teams work on the key questions that will grow and support the business the most.
• Diagnose and deliver actionable recommendations that help to solve simple to complex issues that may span multiple teams.

Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of experience in UX/CX insights research, more welcome!
• Helpful if some of these years have been in the entertainment and / or streaming areas, but not a deal-breaker. Experience in subscription, or direct-to-consumer industries also great.
• Experience conducting and managing across different research methodologies
• Highly analytical, deep operational knowledge and expertise in customer insights
• Experience building and setting research strategy that connects with business strategy
• Track record of translating research into business impact
• Experience defining and influencing product strategy
• Experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and stakeholders (e.g., product managers, designers, engineers, insights, and marketing)
• Strategic thinker who takes an action-oriented, forward-looking approach to consumer insights with a keen ability to listen to the voice of the consumer and derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data
• Ability to be nimble, reactive, and adaptive in real time with proven success in turning around insights in a timely manner

• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve both people and process related issues.
• Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-performing researchers.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
