Job Description

DIVISION PROFILE & OVERVIEW

Global TVD is responsible for the licensing distribution of NBCUniversal content to all forms of television and new media to over 200 territories including the US and Canada.

This role focuses on Strategy's commercial analysis and support to Global TV Distribution, NBCU's content licensing business (TVD) for the EMEA region.

Reporting to the SVP of the team, whilst taking the lead on many projects and overseeing analysis work of the more junior members of the team.

This role has regular exposure to senior NBCU's senior distribution management, for example when updating negotiation proposals and providing deal update summaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of junior members of the team, including initiation of recruitment at that level when required
• Financial Analysis & Modeling of long term licensing and channel carriage deals
• Strategic Analysis: Monitoring market, programming and technology trends in designated territories
• Senior Executive presentation preparation and pitching
• Support development of long term financial and strategic planning
• Direct Client Contact: attend client meetings in order to source client strategy information and to help finalize negotiations
• Providing input to Budget assumptions

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Possess a university degree and/or MBA qualification
• Experience working with senior leadership
• Management and training of junior members of a team
• Strong skills in preparing and pitching presentations summarizing complex commercial topics
• Solid experience performing quantitative analysis, forecasting and financial modeling
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within a negotiation team and interact with clients
• Candidate must be comfortable working in a multi-task, project-driven environment where tight deadlines and multiple demands may require flexibility, longer hours and travel
• Self-motivated, proactive individual capable of working as a member of multiple teams as well as independently
• Ability to work effectively with PowerPoint, Excel and utilizing data analysis tools
