Supervising Producer, TODAY Show (10AM)

Responsibilities

TODAY with HODA & JENNA is looking for a Supervising Producer with an enthusiasm for creating and overseeing lifestyle content, including fashion, beauty, wellness, and human interest stories. This person must be adept at fostering and developing innovative content for live, daily broadcast segments.They will work directly with the Executive Producer, Senior Producers, as well as Producers, AP's and Researchers to bring ideas to fruition, delivering top quality content while maintaining journalistic and corporate standards.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee creative with the EP and Senior Team, as well as work closely with Production team members to execute on show content on a daily basis
• Produce, as needed, original and engaging editorial pieces
• Identify story opportunities and lead producers in successful execution of that material
• Generate ideas and book guests and human interest stories as needed
• Oversee producer's content from segment launch through final production
• Strong communicator who is able to pitch ideas to the team and stakeholders, take and deliver feedback constructively, and cultivate a team environment of communication and accountability

Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in a similar role within television broadcast / talk show or similar content
• 3+ years experience in a control room
• Experience with iNews
• Must have ability to work flexible hours, including some weekend and evenings
• Creatively ambitious, willing to take risks and have fun

• Good interpersonal skills, both in contributing to the creative team as well as in representing the department throughout the company
