Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Sr. Treasury Analyst will join a team focused on providing cash management, forecasting, and oversight as well as identifying, developing, and implementing strategies for mitigating foreign exchange risk across all of NBCUniversal's portfolio of businesses including Media, Studios, News, and Destination and Experiences.

The Treasury department is a dynamic and fast paced organization. As such, the successful candidate should have strong initiative, high attention to detail, experience developing cash flow and liquidity models, and the ability to work proactively in a team environment and on multiple assignments. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills and be an effective communicator who can collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the company and external banking partners. This role will primarily be responsible for providing support and financial modelling that will be utilized by senior and executive leadership for strategic planning and decision-making purposes across NBCUniversal and Comcast Corporation.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily treasury operations including cash management, intercompany and banking activities
• Oversee the company's cash and liquidity rolling forecast process which includes active engagement with business units, FP&A, Tax, and Controllership to improve accuracy and reduce variances between forecasts and actuals
• Provide treasury expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams such as AP, Payroll, Tax, and Finance Operations
• Evaluate opportunities to optimize cash visibility and reporting, streamline processes through automation, and enhance internal controls
• Support foreign exchange trading activities and trade settlement processing
• Participate in special projects to support the long-term strategy of the Treasury department
• Prepare materials for internal and external auditors as requested

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree preferred
• CTP or other professional designation a plus
• 3+ years of relevant treasury/finance role preferred
• Solid knowledge of banking services, working capital management, Treasury trends, and technology systems
• Understanding of macroeconomics, financial principles, and business statistics/analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling
• Must be comfortable with treasury-related topics with a constant eye on process improvement and creating efficiencies through technology

Desired Characteristics:
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with managing competing projects and deliverables on tight timelines
• Knowledge of FX markets and related financial instruments
• Familiarity with banking platforms, Quantum, Trax, Chatham, and FXAll a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and Power BI Reporting and Dashboards, a plus
• Proficient at creating managerial level presentations and analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, written, & listening)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and fluid environment
• Knowledge of media industry, a plus

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
