Job Description
The Universal Film Group FP&A team is hiring a Senior Manager of Finance, responsible for leading the consolidation, analysis, and forecasting of global P&L for the entire Film Group. The role is in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with senior executives and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
include but are not limited to:
• Spearhead the consolidation & analysis of the Film Group's global P&L forecasting routines (budget, quarterly estimates, and monthly pacings), and communicate results to Film, Studios, and NBCUniversal leadership.
• Provide thoughtful quantitative and qualitative analysis during quarter close & budget/forecast cycles.
• Leverage film financial database system to build robust analytical tools to support and continuously improve FP&A pacing process.
• Direct consultation, collaboration, and communication with finance teams across the 11 Film business units to ensure coordinated processes and timely FP&A reporting.
• Manage the Film Cost/ Participations and Residuals amortization process and work closely with the Film HQ Controllership Team during monthly and quarterly close.
• Owner of the Long Range Plan Film library forecasting model.
• Oversee FP&A's financial calendar; coordinate and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
• Support Senior Film and Studios Management in preparing monthly/quarterly business update presentations to Film Group & NBCU Senior Management Teams.
• Support administration of the film financial database system.
• Participate in or lead ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 6+ years of Finance experience in the entertainment industry, including a working knowledge of Film accounting
• High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Characteristics:
• Proficiency with SAP and BPC (preferred but not required)

• Advanced knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, advanced spreadsheets; experience with VBA, macros, data visualization preferred
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
