The Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A will assist in all efforts related to financial planning and reporting, including month close, quarterly pacing/estimates, and annual budget, with a focus on the P&L. This individual will work closely with FP&A leadership, the functional finance team and operating groups in performing consolidations and variance analysis, issuing of business performance reports, analysis and project work within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Directly support the Director FP&A in the forecasting, reporting, and analyzing of monthly, quarterly and annual P&L results for Universal Studios Hollywood, including Theme Park and CityWalk standard operations as well as major events (ie. Halloween Horror Nights, Fan Fest Nights, etc.)
• Responsible for consolidation of full business results as well as at the individual company, department and event levels
• Assisting in the preparation of key financial statements and P&L variance analysis:
• Weekly business performance deck and monthly financial reporting
• Operating plan, latest estimates
• Special projects & ad hoc analysis as required by management
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in using and managing budget/planning systems (SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, Cognos, etc)
• Strong Computer / Analysis Skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
