Job Description

Role Purpose:

As the Travel & Expense Sr. Analyst, you will work to execute the Travel & Expense activities of NBCUniversal. Each year, the company processes over 200,000 T&E reports and this person is integral in ensuring that these expenses are entered and paid correctly.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze reports to identify duplicate expenses entered by employees into the T&E system. Investigate each report to confirm if duplicate and coordinate with employees for reimbursements to the company.
• Review and reconcile T&E balances in SAP. Process reimbursements to the company, including personal charges, cash advances, duplicates, and reclasses.
• Create and upload journal entry templates with SAP. Identify instances where a reclass is necessary.
• Assist with answering general end user inquiries through both phone and email.
• Coordinate and lead training sessions for end-user training on profile setup, travel, expense, and reporting.
• Build relationships with finance teams in each business to promote transparency of T&E spend.
• Support monthly close process, including auditing expense reports in accordance with company policy.
• Periodically present updates on projects and trends to team leaders.
• Implement new countries to the T&E systems.
• Program administrator for Citibank T&E card services.
• Assist with technical configuration and implementation of T&E systems for global NBCU entities.
• Liaison with external and internal services for T&E transparency and reporting purposes.
• Participate in ad hoc projects in other areas and cultivate productivity.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Concur configuration and support experience required
• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• SAP knowledge is a plus

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
