Job Description
This position will be a key member of the Ad Sales Finance team, supporting all aspects of the Hispanic Group TV pricing & sales forecasting, revenue analysis, systems maintenance and financial closes. The positions will offer great exposure to learn all aspects of Ad Sales within the Hispanic Group, which includes Broadcast (Telemundo), Cable (NBC Universo) and Telemundo Deportes (Sports) properties.
• Provide ongoing support to Director/Vice President, Ad Sales Pricing in fundamental reporting and analysis
• Maintain ad sales revenue financial models for the Hispanic Group throughout all key financial forecast cycles (Budget, Upfront, Annual Reforecasts), along with monthly pacing and weekly reporting.
• Prepare Programming Green Lights and Post-mortems.
• Maintain day-to-day financial operations and monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
• Research drivers of key variances and trends
• Conduct pricing/revenue analyses around KPIs (price, ratings, volume) to understand trends and variances.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (UWS, SAP, OnAir, etc.)
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Inventory, and Network operational teams to identify financial risks and/or opportunities
Qualifications
• Degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business, Accounting, Finance or Mathematics or similar
• 2+ years finance experience
• Ability to perform in-depth, detailed analyses, while summarizing key takeaways.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented and a critical thinker, possessing intellectual curiosity.
• Robust interpersonal skills and a team player, willing to collaborate effectively.
• Aptitude to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
