Job Description
The Editor will be responsible for editing content across various sports programs, including both long-form and short-form formats. This includes weekly studio-based programs, live news, digital content, and remote programs such as teases, highlights, packages, voiceovers, and sound on tape. Given the time-sensitive nature of the assignments, the role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to make prompt, well-informed decisions. The Editor reports to the Director of Post Production and should be comfortable working independently when required.
Responsibilities:
• Edit short-form sports programs, including for 30- and 60-minute shows
• Edit show features and long-form programming
• Edit for Pre- and Postgame Live shows, along with other programming
• Edit content for digital platforms
• Create graphics using Avid
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience with Avid editing software
• Proficient in editing both long-form and short-form content packages
• Ability to perform color correction
• Experience using Interplay
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Avid and its applications
• Familiarity with Marquee title tool
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
Desired Characteristics:
• Proficient in editing with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Proven work ethic and leadership qualities, capable to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
• Flexibility to work a nontraditional schedule that may include Saturday to Wednesday, 4pm to 12am

In accordance with applicable NYC law, the estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience. This position is overtime eligible and bonus eligible.
