NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst of Global Distribution Finance is responsible for Financial, Planning & Analysis of NBC Universal's filmed entertainment and television product distributed in the International Digital and Transactional markets (including Pay Per View, VOD, PVOD, Ad-based Free On Demand, Electronic Sell-Through and Premium Electronic Sell-Through).

In this role, the SFA will support the development, analysis and forecasting of budgets and forecast for International Digital revenue and perform variance analysis versus prior forecasts and budget. This position will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A for International Digital and will also be responsible for coordinating with members of the International Television Distribution Sales and Distribution Group as well as cross-functional team members in Sales Administration, Controllership, Theatrical and Television Planning Groups, Business Development, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities
• Create and maintain deep deal analysis/financial models, and prepare the Annual Budget and Forecasts.
• Analyze financial results for the department against prior plan/forecasts including providing variance analysis and summarizing financial results to management.
• Understand licensing and distribution agreements, assessing financial impact of deals.
• Participate in quarterly close process, including tracking of revenue from the subledger and general ledger against the forecast, and review of revenue recognition.
• Provide analytical support for Ad hoc reporting and special projects.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to gather key inputs for reporting and analytical efforts.
• Management of Transactional sales data in the International Distribution Salesforce tool.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling Excel (advanced formulas & pivot tables).

• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
