Responsibilities
The Senior Finance Manager role is a dynamic and strategic role in the Underground Finance team. The finance senior manager will play a key role in executing the financial strategy, vision, and operations for the company including implementing financial processes for budgeting, pacing, forecasting and monthly closing. The role will manage local FP&A, Controllership and production finance teams.

Responsibilities:
• ​​​Work closely with leadership and management to implement effective financial strategy and initiatives to support business objectives
• Act as a business partner to the TV production executives in building production budgets challenging assumptions and providing financial guidance in daily operations.
• Responsible for US GAAP accounting records and compliance of the statutory books with respect to local statutory and taxation legislation.
• Managing a team that is responsible for financial operations of Underground Production's departments (e.g. budget preparation, journal entries, travel & p-card reviews, payroll analysis, account reconciliations, and other duties as needed)
• Help plan and execute the Integration Project Plan – Financial Workstream that includes but is not limited to:
• Definition of standard NBCUniversal financial processes and programs for the country in conjunction with Comcast team.
• Lead financial compliance audit and define mitigation plan and actions as appropriate.
• Interpret, develop and implement financial policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individuals that foster NBCU's mission, values and business objectives and are in line with local practice, compliance and global standards.
• Own monthly pacing and budgeting process, including template generation, data upload and variance analysis primarily for Free Cash Flow and assist in Operating Cash Flow analysis when required
• Assist with financial analysis and presentation preparation for senior management
• Help develop long range plans that include 3-5-year financial strategy
• Drive controllership best practices for the Underground Production office to ensure accurate financial bookings and accurate/timely reporting of financials and balance sheet reviews, including US GAAP presentations
• Provide financial modeling during estimate cycles to capture updated financials instantly and prepare 'what if' scenarios
• Partner with Human Resources in all matters related to Compensation & Benefits
• Assist with implementation of Financial systems, including planning, accounting, accounts payable, T&E and executives' dashboards
• Identify opportunities for simplification and look for new ways to analyze the business and drive productivity
• Responsible for the Account Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Liaise with the 3rd party tax compliance team and external auditors
• Ensure accuracy of monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Identify business risks and opportunities to incorporate in monthly forecasts
• Special projects & Ad Hoc Analysis as required by management
• Works under the direct supervision of the Local Finance Leader and Senior Finance Director in Miami.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA or Certified accountant designation preferred
• Accounting expertise required (Big 4 experience preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership positions with responsibilities in accounting and financial planning and analysis.
• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
• Work experience in Media or Entertainment industry preferred.
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Needs to have experience analyzing data and business metrics preferably in the Entertainment industry.
• Impeccable integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence – the ability to deal with highly sensitive information and maintain the strictest confidentiality without allowing it to influence personal behavior.

• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Buenos Aires, Argentina
