NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Data Platform Operations team. This team is dedicated to developing systems that enhance data interoperability between NBCUniversal and its key partners, including measurement vendors, advertisers, and agencies. This team drives the data solutions powering NBCU's suite of measurement and optimization products, delivered through our cutting-edge data clean room platform.

We are looking for a talented Senior Analyst with a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. In this critical role, you will manage data sharing and permissioning processes with NBCU's most strategic clients and partners, ensuring seamless and secure data collaboration. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining technical documentation and creating user-friendly knowledge base resources to optimize operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee and enforce data permissioning frameworks to ensure authorized access to sensitive data.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to onboard new partners based on business use cases and integration requirements.
• Validate data delivery through clean rooms and server-to-server integrations, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting. Develop validation methods to automate data validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data delivery issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and develop preventative measures to mitigate risks of recurring issues.
• Create and update user-friendly documentation and reports, providing collaboration partners with clear integration statuses and shared data insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in data collaboration workflows and technical systems.

Qualifications
• BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or related field
• 1+ years of experience in a data engineering role
• Deep SQL expertise and data analysis skill required
• 3+ years experience building data pipelines with refined skills using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.)
• Direct experience implementing ETL/ELT development principles and data warehousing concepts through cloud technologies such as AWS/S3
• Proficiency in relational databases, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, and data analysis techniques (experience in Snowflake and leveraging its sharing capabilities is a huge plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States now and in the future
• Must be 18 years or older

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Monday and Friday virtual; Tuesday - Thursday on-site with flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate.

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000
