Job Description
The Research Analyst will support the Global Partnerships team in delivering data regarding NBCU Global Linear TV and Digital portfolio primarily to the commercial team and external clients. They will also support broader research and insight projects on an ad hoc basis to different departments within the wider NBCU Advertising business.
The analyst will be part of the Global Partnerships research team collaborating with global researchers around the world to bring a unified POV to our sales positioning and centralized reporting efforts. The role will focus on crucial analyses articulating our global offering, delivering client and category specific insights to feed into the advertising / client RFP process.
Duties and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Support the US Research Director in delivering data to feed into Global Partnership sales collateral and respond to RFPs to internal and external stakeholders
• Working with Research Director in the US to ensure the smooth running of the Global Partnerships Research response to RFP process, ensuring the timely delivery of data to internal sales teams
• Work across the wider Global Partnerships team in EMEA and APAC on strategic projects to help streamline internal process and workflows and feed into macro GTM collateral
• Analysis and interpretation of Linear, streaming and digital data
• Analysis of syndicated surveys and web analytics tools such as Globalwebindex
• Help to conduct, analyze and interpret bespoke custom research studies
• Strategically join disparate data sources from multiple countries into coherent, compelling marketplace positioning analysis
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in a similar role at a broadcaster / publisher
• Experience of working with Crosstab software such as GWI or IMS required
Desired Characteristics:
• Knowledge of a wide range of digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and ComScore
• Knowledge and experience in dashboarding and data visualization advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative research techniques advantageous
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate key findings to internal and external stakeholders using PowerPoint or similar tools
• Analytical, with a creative approach to research and data interpretation
• Curious about consumer behavior and media usage
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
• Act proactively to anticipate and deliver on sales/marketing requests and client needs
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• High degree of numeracy and literacy
• Strong PC skills, including Excel (e.g. Macros, PivotTables) and PowerPoint
• Ability to meet deadlines and juggle various tasks/projects
• Curiosity and a willingness to expand and learn new skills and ideas
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to work in New York, NY a minimum of 3 days/week
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $62,000 - $82,000
