Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Manager Solutions Governance will lead our efforts to measure how much digital transformational change we accomplish by implementing SAP's modern S/4HANA Finance ERP software. By implementing this software, NBCU will have an opportunity to adopt streamlined/optimized enterprise finance processes already in place at thousands of high-performing companies.

NBCU's aim is to achieve a high level of finance organizational transformational improvement and significant ROI. In support of this, the Manager Solutions Governance will design and implement a disciplined measurement, documentation, and accountability definition process to track our transformational achievement.

This role will also put in place a program to monitor effectiveness of forty plus consultant-led SAP S/4HANA workshops representing all finance functions across NBCU. These workshops will illustrate optimized enterprise finance processes and identify how they may be implemented at NBCU to modernize our ways of working.

The program must systematically document workshop findings including new efficient processes that can be adopted by NBCU, current processes that can be standardized, eliminated, optimized or automated. In addition, the program must identify gaps between SAP's optimized processes and NBCU's requirements for further analysis.

As NBCU's Transformation progresses, the Manager's program will enable estimate of ROI for value realized, and the accountability measures required to assure delivery of the transformational value.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate SAP implementation project user stories to identify gaps between current practice and SAP best practices.
• Assist teams to develop and implement standardization solutions to align with SAP best practices.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on SAP standardization.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP best practices and industry standards.
• Manage and update project plan in support of the Fit Gap methodology.
• Set up and coordinate workshops between IT Finance Strategy and Business Unit teams.
• Guide Team through appropriate Solution Design & Implementation stages incl. Global Template adoption.
• Provide regular communications to the project team, incl. RAID and escalations.
• Maintain project scope and define Change Order requirements recommend corresponding, if applicable Perform Risks and Issues Management.
• Provide Project Milestone Signoff Document with purpose and dependencies.
• Manage open items list and project close activities.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of five years work experience within Finance/Finance Operations.
• 4+ years of experience in complex SAP S/4 HANA ERP implementations, especially within program governance/PMO leadership.
• Strong understanding of SAP best practices and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
