Job Description

The Manager, Business Strategy, NBCU Studio Group will support the VP, Business Strategy in creating presentations and analyses that drive cross-portfolio initiatives and strategies. You will be part of a small, high-impact team within the Studio Group that works closely with Executive management across NBCU to tackle critical challenges and fuel long-term growth. We're looking for a collaborative thought partner with a keen understanding of industry trends who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create executive presentations that clearly lay out analysis, findings, and strategic recommendations
• Oversee projects & analyses that require input from key stakeholders across business units
• Support VP and CBO in preparing background & presentation materials for meetings and manage associated follow-ups
• Keep an active pulse and perspective on the trends across the entertainment landscape
• Perform strategic analysis on competitors and markets to identify and evaluate new opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members of other business units and handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism & discretion

Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in strategic planning, management consulting, business development, or investment banking
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author/ deliver presentations
• Experience working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• High degree of professionalism while interacting with senior management
• Superior strategic acumen and analytical skills
• Proven project management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Desired Characteristics:
• A strong understanding of the film and TV industry and/or broader media industry and business models
• Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers
• Highly organized and detail oriented with a proactive work-style
• Ability to think about bigger picture strategic vision and day-to-day details

Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
