Job Description

The Graphic Producer will be responsible for the creation of graphic elements which include written/visual content under tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment including but not limited to a control room.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the content producers to find innovative ways to enhance the on-air content with graphic elements.
• Responsible for the creation of the graphic elements in INews.
• Work hand in hand with the graphic department to get the latest graphic look for on-air and have knowledge of the latest graphic technologies.
• Check and review graphics for grammar, spelling, clarity, and impact under tight deadlines during live productions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Works under the direct supervision of Executive Producer and is responsible for

completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Degree in communication, graphic design, and/or production.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in television production or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
• General computer skills: Microsoft Office, iNews and Avid MediaCentral.
• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics:
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization.
• Proven excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story desired.
• Creative and highly organized.
• Detail oriented.
