Director, Finance Transformation - Order-to-Cash (OTC)

Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Director, Finance Transformation - OTC is a critical role for NBCUniversal's SAP S/4 HANA implementation, ''Project Keystone.'' This position will work with colleagues across the global NBCU Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. This role will be an important part of ensuring inclusive design decisions, effective change management and substantial transformation.
Responsibilities:
• Strong candidate has held leadership roles in transforming legacy Order to Cash processes and technology environments in a large complex enterprise.
• Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) with SAP S/4 functionality, data design and migration for OTC processes.
• Interface with horizontal workstreams (Data, IT, Risk and Controls), the Sub-ledger workstreams, the S/4 leadership team, System Integrators (SI) and more to capture & analyse business processes, workflows, policies, master data elements, and functionality related to the current ECC solution, to translate OTC needs into the design of SAP S/4 solutions.
• Eloquently translate finance functional requirements to technical teams for development.
• Participate during fit-to-standard workshops and drive solutioning for established GAPs.
• Participate in fit to standard workshops and sessions around data migration design and validation.
• Help to build stakeholder consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can understand the solution being proposed.
• Be a change agent for the SAP S/4 transformation.
• Evaluate third party solutions as an alternative to custom development where SAP recommends.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Information Systems and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• 5+ years of relevant media, or direct-to-consumer or entertainment industry experience.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of SAP business processes.
• Solid understanding of agile project mgmt. and a record of accomplishment of on time delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in organizational change management.
• Solution driven and results oriented.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills within functional and technical areas.
• Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementors with a collaborative mindset.
• A distinctive working knowledge of finance and data processes.
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
