NBCU Entertainment is looking for a motivated Analyst, Product & Revenue Analytics that can deliver results in a fast-paced environment. You will help drive product and user strategy through user level analytics, advertising optimization, and performance reporting for all NBCU Entertainment Apps including NBC, Bravo, USA, SyFy, E!, Oxygen and Telemundo. You will be hands-on with big data and deliver impactful data solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
• Analyze complex data sets using SQL to develop actionable insights for stakeholders to drive strategy (incremental lift analysis, A/B testing, etc.)
• Build and maintain standardized reporting for multiple groups, ensuring timely and accurate delivery (daily/weekly/monthly readouts)
• Track product performance and provide insights (engagement, retention, etc.)
• Create requirements for new data sources and ETL's for new dashboards as necessary
• Track KPIs and ROI on business initiatives through deep-dive analysis
• Apply statistics and product knowledge to analyze product experimentation
• Partner closely with the Data Engineering team to provide technical support, define use cases and give guidance for key engineering decisions
• Play an important role in internal data governance – set goals, communicate roadmap, track progress, and QA tables and dashboards
• Communicate effectively through presentations and syndicated reports
Qualifications
• BA/BS/MS from a quantitative field from such as Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics from highly ranked program is preferred
• 0-1 years of applied experience in Data, Analytics, or Data Science internship or full time role
• Experience with Tableau (or similar platform), building effective dashboards
• Experience in, or working with, Data Engineering teams to source data for reporting and analytics
• Hands on experience writing Snowflake SQL, Google BigQuery SQL, or similar
• Experience with building statistical models (Regression, Decision Trees, K-Means, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Highly motivated, resourceful, and inquisitive self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrates expertise in clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Team-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, working effectively with peers and stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
