The Manager, Revenue Planning & Analytics is an integral part of NBC Sports Next Revenue Management team. They assist in the providing analytical support to help shape effective business strategy and provide perspective on performance to respective company targets. To provide this support they are tasked with managing the day-to-day functions of a highly skilled group of analysts tasked with supporting a diverse portfolio of brands spread across the globe.

J ob Duties
• Build and maintain analytical models to help drive revenue optimization, business decisions, what-if scenarios, ROI analyses, pro-formas, process improvements, etc. congruent to various business units on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in the long-range planning, annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting process and conduct M&A support when needed across all revenue streams at NBC Sports Next.
• Aligning various business functions under common strategic direction by providing specific and actionable goals and respective performance insight throughout the revenue cycle.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to help inform creative solutions to complex business challenges presented by changing business conditions.
• Communicate regularly with business leaders at NBC Sports Next where they will be asked to synthesize key business trends and generate awareness through effective communication.
• Oversee and effectively manage the day-to-day functions of a highly skilled team of analysts helping them to grow and develop

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Business Management, Finance, Decision Sciences, Management Science, or a related field
• MBA or MS degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, or a related field preferred
• A minimum of 5+ years of revenue management or related experience
• Strong critical thinking, business acumen, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.
• Advanced skills in Excel and SQL preferred along with experience with Tableau
