Job Description

NBC Sports Boston is looking for an organized creative professional to manage the day-to-day activity of the network's Creative Services department. Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, you will manage a team in all aspects of creative production bringing together both sports and entertainment. With an enthusiasm for creating great content and working in a collaborative environment, here you can lead from within.

This position will ultimately be based in the brand-new NBC Universal Boston Media Center in Needham, MA with the most up-to-date state of the art technology at your fingertips every day.

Responsibilities:
• Motivate, engage and directly manage a talented team of designer/editors in their daily work
• Receive all requests and assign appropriate resources to fulfill the needs of the business
• Develop a deep understanding of NBCSB business priorities with a proven ability to shift focus on the fly as needed
• Foster solid working relationships with all departments to serve their daily creative services needs
• Anticipate upcoming projects and independently gather information to expedite their delivery
• Create high quality graphical and video assets both independently and with the help of the team
• Work seamlessly with counterparts across NBC 10 Boston, NECN and Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra on broader company initiatives

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of three (3+) years' of relevant experience
• Technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Cinema 4D
• Solid understanding of video production fundamentals

Desired Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5+) years' of relevant experience
• Skillful design skills with fluent knowledge of current and evolving design trends
• Highly organized with effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of personalities
• Creative thinker who excels at ideation and problem solving
• Ability to work unsupervised and take decisive action when needed
• Proven understanding of pop culture
• Keen attention to detail
