Sales and Community MMJ

NBC24 (WNWO) in Toledo has an exciting opportunity for a part-time, Sales and Community MMJ position to support our station's Lifestyle / Community Outreach Initiative.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, energetic, and creative talent who can think and perform outside the box. Qualified candidates should possess strong on-air presentation skills, proven production and on-air experience, interpersonal communication and be highly organized, with experience in media and broadcast environments. You will have the chance to help generate and develop content for our socials and website.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Appear on camera and conduct interviews
• Host on-air and digital video segments
• Shoot, edit and publish assigned segments.
• Engage with local community members
• Represent the station at community events and on air for NBC24's Community Outreach Segments
• Work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Sales Manager to identify and pitch segment ideas
• Stay up to date on events around the community
• Generate and develop content for our socials and website
• Hours: Part Time Hourly with schedule to be mutually agreed.
• Educational background or degree; experience in mass communications, journalism or a related media based major preferred but relevant experience is acceptable.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, and on camera communication skills
• Experience in shooting, editing, and completing video and digital segments.
• Knowledge of non-linear video editing is required.
