Who are we hiring?
This role will proactively pursue new business for MSG Sports sales targeting individual consumers in the tri-state area, primarily focused on selling season membership plans, groups, lounges, Madison Club and single event suites. The ideal candidate is resilient, coachable, and capable of overcoming the challenges that arise with outbound prospecting/sales in a challenging sales market.
What will you do?
• Maximize new business revenue generation for MSG Sports through year-round efforts to sell new season ticket membership products, groups, lounges, premium memberships and single event suites for all MSG events.
• Responsible for managing the entire sales cycle establishing qualified leads, initiating sales conversations, closing sales and continued service for upsell opportunities.
• Execute new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations, and diligent follow through.
• Field, investigate and respond to customer inquiries and issues to maintain positive client relationships.
• Track sales process while capturing accurate data and completing sales transactions through proper use of database systems such as Salesforce and Archtics.
• Foster positive, cooperative internal relationships with departmental co-workers as well as key inter-departmental contacts.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven track record of adaptability and ability to implement skill-based coaching
• Excellent communication/presentation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships
• Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to identify and engage various types of prospects including potential new personal and corporate clients
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Archtics Ticketing Database and Microsoft Office a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple responsibilities
Pay Range
$42,000 - $42,000 USD
