Job Title: Avid Technician

Job Description:Looking for an Avid Technician, who is an expert at identifying and resolving software and hardware failures as it relates to Avid’s Media Composer Systems and Avid NEXIS Network Storage. This candidate will be responsible for supporting remote and in-person Avid edit systems. This Avid Technician must demonstrate the ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support all aspects of the Avid Media Composer editing system.

We are looking for a team player that will assist everyone in the tech department when new are deploying multiple Avid Systems or we are troubleshooting a new problem.

· 2+ Years’ experience in integrating, installing & troubleshooting all aspects of Avid systems and NEXIS Storage Solution.

· Must have extensive hands-on experience when it comes to dealing with drive failures and monitoring the health of the NEXIS Server, Switch and Drives.

· Capable of identifying opportunities that will continuously improve the configuration and operational deployment of our fleet of Avid Systems.

· Provide on-call phone & field support to the editors that are working around the clock.

· Advanced technical knowledge as it relates to deploying and supporting remote editors.

· Have the ability to integrate and support a NAS System.

· Firsthand experience with supporting editors that are working remotely using Jump Desktop to connect to a Remote Avid System.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
