Job Description:
As a Senior Producer, you will lead and manage a team of production and creative professionals to successfully deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget. You will be responsible for overseeing schedules, budgets, client relationships, and cross-departmental collaboration to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project & Financial Oversight
• Manage project bids, budgets, and P&L to ensure financial targets are met.
• Monitor direct labor targets, margin targets, and efficiency percentages (EFF%).
• Oversee change order management to track and adjust project scope.
• Production Management
• Supervise production schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.
• Allocate resources efficiently while managing costs.
• Track weekly targets and quota attainment.
• Approve trailers, temp assets, and stage submissions.
• Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead VFX Supervisors, CG, Compositing, and Animation Supervisors.
• Provide creative leadership in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Maintain strong communication with artists and production teams.
• Ensure team compliance with approved processes and workflows.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary production-side contact for client communication.
• Oversee client reviews, ensuring sessions are well-prepared and successful.
• Manage client expectations and feedback integration into the production pipeline.
• Additional Duties
• Perform other tasks as needed to support project goals.
Required Skills & Experience
• Project Management: Proven experience in VFX or animation project management, with a strong understanding of scheduling and resource allocation.
• Financial Expertise: Experience managing P&L, budgeting, and financial tracking for large-scale projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with production tracking tools such as ShotGrid, Ftrack, or FileMaker (preferred).
• Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and team coordination.
• Background: Experience working in a high-end VFX environment is essential (ie.Feature, Film, Episodic). Due to the role's seniority, a strong credit list as a VFX Producer is also preferred.
