Job Description:
The role will be primarily responsible for leading the Business Development Finance team and supporting the Business Development team to ensure financial tracking and reporting of projects are carried out effectively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with project planning and budgeting processes, analyzing bid proposals and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership.
• Develop and improve the existing tool sets to drive efficiencies and create better control processes surrounding but not limited to: project financials
• Responsible for team and career development to create best in-class team
o Recruitment,training, mentoring of the team
• Support the Business Development global bidding pipeline, working with multiple members of the team to ensure bids are commercially robust
• Lead FX hedge discussion with Local Controllers
• Lead detailed postmortems of shows won and lost across Business Development
• Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure accurate bid packaging, match backs and other new bid analysis as required; and support the team as and when required
• Take ownership of high value bids across the entire bidding pipeline
• Provide analysis to the wider finance community as required
• Validate and prepare project proposals
• Build and maintain data sheets for use by various departments across the business
• Collaborate with the Business Development Controller to develop ad-hoc reporting
• Ensure compliance with data collection processes across internal and CRM tools
• Lead the Business Development Finance team
• Provide first level of approval for pricing across all bids
• Drive consistency and accuracy
• Act as final check point in financial review and analysis of client bids/documents

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum 5+ years relevant work experience, MBA preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Sumifs, etc.) and ability to create and work in complex financial models
• Experience leading and developing teams VFX industry knowledge is an asset Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
Additional Job Description:
The salary banding for this full-time fixed-term contract is 110,000 - 120, 000 $ USD/Annually which is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and pursuant to the California State Pay Transparency Laws.
